Cabela's is located off I-70, at exit 10. 

Rooms are available at Comfort Inn, 675 Fort Henry Rd., Triadelphia.  Phone 304-547-0610.  Rates are $76.49 plus tax.  Please make reservations by November 6th to ensure rate.  Light snacks and drinks will be available in the Wheeling Room.  Comfort Inn is located off I-70, exit 11.

Scheduled speakers are:
Randy Swartzmiller, WV State Delegate, will be speaking on the subject of Homeland Security.
Robert Matheny, Chief of Police for the City of Wheeling, will be speaking about the value of good relationships between law enforcement and the private investigations and security industry.
Amber Kroening, Chief Investigator with the Secretary of State, will be speaking about the regulatory powers of the WVSOS office, the current stalking laws, and the possibility of 2-year license renewals.

The featured speaker is Renee O'Farrell.  Ms. O'Farrell is a computer forensics consultant based in western Maryland.  She is proficient in all major operating systems and carries Apple technician certification and Microsoft BizSpark certification.  Ms. O'Farrell will be giving a presentation on computer forensics and will cover such topics as:

  • What is computer forensics
  • Definition, history, current state
  • How and when it is used
  • Populations and information at risk
  • What type of information can be recovered
  • Web browsers, chat rooms, email, documents
  • Legalities of using computer forensics
  • Specific cases, current laws, precedents
  • Challenges to computer forensics
  • Anti-forensic software detection
